Vernon Felton
Senior Associate, Writer
Vernon is our senior writer. He works closely with our designers, and helps define each project's editorial style, voice and positioning. For the past 15 years, he has worked as a political analyst, journalist, magazine editor, writer of television series, university communications specialist and marketing writer.
Vernon has authored congressional testimony on behalf of the state of California, managed the world's largest mountain bike magazine, produced a television series for the Outdoor Life Network, and been consistently published in a variety of magazines such as Playboy, Outdoor Retailer, Adventure Sports and BIKE Magazine. He has also created scores of catalogs and ad campaigns for clients in the business community, including Specialized Bicycles, Yakima Products, the International Mountain Bike Association and Veltec Sports.
Vernon's work in higher education marketing has garnered several awards, including a CASE National Circle of Excellence silver medal and an Award of Commendation in the Publication Relations Society of America's Bronze Anvil Competition.
